MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Alan P. Hughes a single man, and Cheryl A. Silver a single woman, to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for Guaranty Residential Lending, Inc., Mortgagee, dated July 23, 2004 and recorded July 26, 2004 in Liber 1006, Page 213, and , Otsego County Records, Michigan. Said mortgage is now held by Bank of America, N.A. by assignment. There is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of Seventy-Seven Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Five and 30/100 Dollars ($77,165.30) including interest at 6.875% per annum.

Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue at the North door of the City County Building in Gaylord, Michigan in Otsego County, Michigan at 10:00 AM on MAY 30, 2013.

Said premises are located in the Township of Otsego Lake, Otsego County, Michigan, and are described as:

Land located in the Township of Otsego Lake, County of Otsego, State of Michigan. Lot 19, Plat of Arbutus Beach Highlands, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Liber 3 of Plats, Pages 11-12, Otsego County Records.

The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA §600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale. TO ALL PURCHASERS: The foreclosing mortgagee can rescind the sale. In that event, your damages, if any, are limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at sale, plus interest.

Under Michigan law the chief circuit judge annually reviews the performance record of the Friend of the Court. The review will be conducted on or about July 1, 2013. This review is limited by law to the following criteria: whether the friend for the court is guilty of misconduct, neglect of statutory duty, or failure to carry out the written orders of the court relative to a statutory duty; whether the purposes of the Friend of the Court Act are being met; and whether the duties of the friend of the court are being carried out in a manner that reflects the needs of the community. The Otsego County Road Commission will begin a Hayes Tower Road Project on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 through Friday, July 19, 2013. The location of this project is on Hayes Tower Road from Mancelona Road, going north 2 miles. This project will remain open to traffic under flag control.

OTSEGO LAKE TOWNSHIP
MINUTES

May 16, 2013

Regular monthly meeting of the Otsego Lake Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Wagar at 7:00 p.m. All board members present and seventeen audience members. Minutes of last meeting, treasurer’s report and bills for the general, trash and fire fund approved as read. Reports from Fire Department, Constable, Enforcement, Trustees, Parks and Recreation and Cemetery Committees. Motions made and seconded to install an irrigation system around playground equipment and pavilion at park and to hire EPS to put in security cameras at the park. Motion made and seconded to contract with the OCRC for improvements to township roads totaling $209,360.00. Motion to appoint M. Coutant to the Park Committee and to appoint G. Johnson board representative to the Planning Commission. Comments heard for the good of the township. Meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m. Next regular meeting will be held on June 20, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
