OMH old

Patient satisfaction and quality care are at the forefront for OMH. This can be demonstrated through accolades received during the last two years. OMH’s Medical/Surgical Unit was selected as a 2008 Platinum Award Winner for Patient Satisfaction by Professional Research Consultants, and both the hospital and the OMH Medical Group received 2007 Governor’s Awards of Excellence in various areas related to improving and enhancing patient care. OMH also received the Alliance for Immunization in Michigan’s Outstanding Achievement Award (Organization) for their work to raise vaccination rates in their service area, and for inputting the information into the Michigan Care Improvement Registry — and electronic database of immunization records for Michigan residents.

OMH was honored to be named to Hospital & Health Networks magazine’s “Most Wired — Small & Rural” list in both 2008 and 2009, and have recently begun using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) throughout the hospital — just another example of how OMH is committed to being at the forefront of technology in health care.

The hospital is located at 825 N. Center Ave. in Gaylord and may be reached at 731-2100.
